After completing the Application Form, it must be sent to the relevant e-mail address below with a student card photo on the application dates.
 
You do not need to request another document during the application.
Your transcript and your success ranking in the relevant class of the program (20%) will be displayed by the relevant secretaries.

During the application, the student can choose a maximum of three double major programs. The student will be placed in a double major program in order of preference.
 
More than one double major cannot be made at the same time. However, a minor can be done with a double major at a time.
 
In the admission to the double major diploma program that accepts students with the aptitude test, the condition of the student to be successful in the aptitude test is sought.
 
The admission process of the students to the double major diploma program is completed with the proposal of the department/program chair and the decision of the relevant board of directors. Final registration of the students who are admitted to the double major program is done by the student affairs department.
 
A student enrolled in the double major diploma program can transfer to the double major diploma program horizontally when the student meets the conditions in accordance with the internal transfer programs in the major diploma program.
 
The quotas of the students who will make double major are determined by the university senate in the related class of the major diploma program, not less than 20%, provided that the general weighted grade average in the major program is at least 70 (2.72 / 4.00) out of 100.
 
The quotas of the programs that will accept double major students and which major students can apply to the programs are determined by the Senate decision, not less than 20% of the starting quota in the related class of the programs.
 
The quotas of the students who will make double major are determined by the university senate in the related class of the major diploma program, not less than 20%, provided that the grade point average in the major program is at least 70 out of 100.
                                                      
Except for law, medical and health programs, and engineering programs, the quotas of the programs to be made in double major are determined by the university senate, not less than 20% of the quota of the programs. 


Application Requirements for Double Major Program

The student can apply to the double major diploma program at the beginning of the third semester in the major undergraduate diploma program, at the beginning of the fifth semester in the four-year programs, at the beginning of the seventh semester in the five-year programs and at the beginning of the ninth semester in the six-year programs. In major programs, the student can apply at the beginning of the second semester at the earliest and at the beginning of the third semester at the latest.
 
At the time of application to the double major program, students with an overall weighted grade point average of at least 70 (2.72 / 4.00) out of 100 and who are in the top 20% of the major class of the major diploma program can apply to the second major diploma program.
 
At least 70 (2.72 / 4.00) out of 100 in the general weighted grade average in the major program; However, students who do not take place in the top 20% of the major class in the related class of the major diploma program, who have a score of not less than the base score of the program in the related year, can also apply to the double major program.
 
The student who wants to do a double major in the programs that require success ranking must meet the requirements of success ranking determined by the Higher Education Council of the related program in the year of enrollment as well as other conditions specified in this Directive.
 
 Double major applications cannot be made between programs with the same name in Turkish and programs with English education. Only lateral transfer applications can be made between these programs.
 
If the student applies for a program that provides a full or partial foreign language education, a minimum score of 70 out of 100 in the foreign language proficiency exam held by the School of Foreign Languages ​​or equivalent from the national/international exams accepted by the Senate.
 
The student who registers with a lateral transfer is required to study at least one semester in the undergraduate/associate degree program that he/she has registered to apply for the double major diploma program. However, students who register with vertical transfer cannot apply for a double major program.

Application, Admission and Registration Requirements for Minor Programs
 
The quotas of undergraduate programs that will accept minor students are announced on the university website at least thirty days before the beginning of the related semester.
 
Students can apply to the announced minor program at the earliest in the 3rd semester of the major program and at the latest, at the beginning of the 6th semester.
 
In order for the student to apply to the minor program, he/she must have successfully completed all credit courses in the undergraduate program until the semester he/she applied and have not received a disciplinary penalty.
 
In order for the student to apply to the minor program, the GPA must be at least 65 out of 100 (2.50 / 4.00).
 
Applications to the minor program are made on the date specified in the academic calendar, with the application form and transcript to the department head of the department.
 
During the application, the student can choose a maximum of three minor programs. The student is placed in a minor program in order of preference. More than one minor branch cannot be done at the same time. However, a double major can be done with a minor program at the same time.
 
The acceptance process is completed with the proposal of the department applied and the decision of the relevant board of directors.
