REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS TO TAKE SUMMER SCHOOL COURSES
 
  • -Course registrations for our university students will be made through OBIS.
  • -Students will first make their course selections and afterwards make their payments through OBIS.
  • -Course registration of students who do not make their payment until the end of the course registration period will be regarded as invalid.
  • -In summer semester, students can take the courses that he/she has never taken in the previous semesters, that he/she took but did not have the right to take the exam, that he/she took but failed, and that he/she wants to take in order to increase his/her GPA.
  • -A student can take maximum four (4)courses during the summer semester, including the courses to be taken from another Higher Education Institution.
  • -During summer semester students are not allowed to add, withdraw, or resign from courses unless they have a valid excuse (death, illness, injury, etc.) that is accepted by the related Executive Board. -Students who do not attend the course after registering will be given a letter grade of FF in the system, regardless of the grade obtained in the previous semesters.
  •  -Upper-level courses are not available to students during summer school.

REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS TO TAKE SUMMER SCHOOL COURSES FROM ANOTHER HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION
 
If a course is not offered during the summer semester, it may be taken with the decision of the related administrative unit and provided that the equivalence of the credit and content of the course is approved by the head of the department and that the local credit does not lower than the credit of the local course, within the scope of procedures and principles established by the Senate for the summer semester.
 
 
 
OTHER HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENT’S TAKING COURSES FROM OUR UNIVERSITY

Students who can prove that they are enrolled in another higher education institution can take courses at our university in summer semester. Selected course registrations cannot be cancelled; students must apply to the Student Affairs in the Rectorate Building with a Student Approval Certificate and a Photograph between the course registration dates.

NOTE: Summer tuition fees can be paid by credit card via OBIS in a single payment or in 3 installments or by personally applying to the Financial Department of our University.
Payment by money order and EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) methods will not be accepted for summer education.
