  • You are required to fill out the application form and to sign it. Afterwards please send it, within the application dates, to the email adress written below. You need to send it with your student email. Please click to get a student email.
  • You do not need to request any other document during application.
  • Transcript and success ranking (20%) in the relevant class of the department can be seen by the relevant secretariat.

Double Major Application Conditions

  • During the application, students can select 3 departments. However, they can only study in a department.
  • Students are obliged to pass the relevant talent exam for the double major departments which require talent exam.
  • It is the decision of the faculty to accept the students into the department. Final registration of the student who gets accepted into the department is made by the Student Affairs Office.
  • Students, who study an undergraduate program, can apply for a double major program at the beginning of the 3rd semester at the earliest; while they can apply for it at the beginning of the 5th semester at the latest. Moreover, the application is available at the beginning of the 7th semester, for those who study in a 5-year program while it is available at the beginning of the 9th semester for those who study in a 6-year program. Students, who study an associate program, can apply for a double major program, at the beginning of the 2nd semester at the earliest; while they can apply for it at the beginning of the 3rd semester at the latest.
  • Students who wish to apply for a double major program, are required to have a minimum GPA of 2,72/4.00 (70 out of 100) and are required to placed in the top 20% of success ranking in their classes. Otherwise, their applications will be refused.
  • The double major application is not possible between the departments which have the same name but have a different education language.
  • If a student apply for a department which has a partly or completely different education language, it is required to submit minimum 70 (out of 100) point from the proficiency exam which was held by the School of Foreign Language of IGU or it is required to submit the other national/ international exam result which is equivalent to the exam that recognized by our University Senate.
